Palletised freight: truck tracking and tachograph
Tachograph, tolls, posting of drivers, cargo protection — haulage administration is a full-time job in itself. We automate it.
In international haulage, a fine is not a risk but a matter of time — if tachograph downloads, driving times or tolls depend on manual record-keeping. FleetControl automates compliance: remote tachograph download with deadline monitoring, HU-GO payment based on the vehicle's actual position, international driving time reports for payroll — and because we read the driver card number from the CAN bus, every report is automatically linked to the driver.

The benefits
- Remote tachograph download: automatic monitoring of the 90/28-day deadlines, automatic download attempts from day 70/24
- 56-day presentation obligation covered: under Article 36 of Regulation (EU) No 165/2014 (from 31 December 2024), drivers must be able to present the data for the current day + 56 days — the logbook app can do this offline, in 10+ languages
- Tachograph-card-based driver identification from the CAN bus — without separate RFID
- HUGO – E-toll: automatic toll payment based on position, with axle-number switching
- International trip and driving time report: posting allowance and minimum wage compliance
- Border crossing monitoring across the entire European border network
- Cargo door opening monitoring: cargo protection with alerts within 3–5 seconds
- Temperature monitoring for refrigerated goods (measuring ranges from −70 °C to +300 °C)
- Timocom and Sixfold (RTTVP) integration: the client sees the shipment live
- Fuel analysis and Pedal control: why fuel consumption is what it is
- ESG data per logbook line (CO₂, fuel consumption, distance)
Recommended devices
- UniTrack tracker — made in Hungary, 3–5-year warranty, CAN connection
- Cargo door opening and temperature sensors
- Trailer tracker (the trailer can be monitored independently with a separate device)

Frequently asked questions
When must the tachograph be downloaded, and who is responsible?
The vehicle unit must be downloaded every 90 days and the driver card every 28 days — the responsibility lies with the vehicle operator. From day 70 and day 24 respectively, FleetControl automatically attempts a remote download and sends an alert if it does not succeed.
What does the driver have to present at a roadside check?
From 31 December 2024, the data for the current day and the previous 56 days (Article 36 of Regulation (EU) No 165/2014) — the FleetControl logbook app stores exactly this much on the phone, even without internet, displayable in the inspector's language.
How does the client see the shipment?
Through the Sixfold (RTTVP) and Timocom integration, FleetControl's position and route data feed directly into the client's shipment tracking — without extra administration.
Can the trailer be tracked separately?
Yes: a separate telematics device can be fitted to the trailer, so that, for example, cargo door opening on the trailer and SOS on the tractor unit can be monitored independently of each other.
