How much does fleet management cost?

In short

The price of fleet management depends on four factors: the number of vehicles, the hardware requirement (installed device, compatible device or OEM factory data connection), the service modules selected and the contract term. This is why serious providers do not publish a fixed price list — a realistic comparison is based on offers with the same scope, tailored to the fleet.

The four price factors

1. Fleet size. The monthly fee is per vehicle; for larger fleets the unit price is typically lower.

2. Hardware. There are three options: installing our own in-house developed and manufactured device (full feature set, 3–5-year warranty); an entry-level compatible device qualified and configured by us, if you only need position and trip records; or, for newer vehicles, an OEM factory data connection (no installation). The three can be combined within one fleet.

3. Modules. Of the 55 services, you only pay for what the fleet uses — from the basic package through tachograph download to the NAV module (Hungarian Tax Authority). Our industry pages show which packages we recommend for each sector.

4. Term and extras. Rental scheme, installation, training, custom reports and API integrations as required.

What should the price be compared with?

Not with the monthly fee of trackers, but with what it replaces: the working time spent on fleet administration (3–10 hours per week), the risk of missed deadlines (loss of warranty, fines) and the hidden cost leaks (idling, fuel discrepancies, tyres). With a good system, the return on investment is decided not by the price list but by these items.
